Motor sailer Nirvana

Sailing ship / yacht with motor

Sailing ship / yacht with motor Nirvana, the largest traditional wooden sailing ship of the "Lugger" type in Croatia, intended for passenger multi-day cruises. Originally build in Genova Italy during 1921 (100 years)

- approx. 37 meters (120 feet)
- width approx. 8 meters (26 feet)
- two masts, height 29 meters (95 feet) each
- current AS-IS weight, 250 tons
- the motor is not installed yet

Current status / Stage of restoration

Complete refurbishment (ship's hull and deck) was done during 2020/2024. Replaced at least 80% of all wooden parts (see images).

If we compare the current state of the renovation, we can guarantee that more than 50% of all the work needed to fully complete the ship has been done (we still need to finish the superstructure, cabins, installations, tanks, etc.).

The continuation of the works depends on the final purpose and/or according to the wishes of the buyer!
